Chocolate Orange Energy Balls

A classic flavour combination that continues to prove time after time that sometimes simple is best.


  • 80g Oats

  • 15g Cacao Powder (You could use Cocoa powder but the flavour won't be as strong)

  • 50g Dates

  • 80g Almond Butter (Or any nut butter)

  • Squeeze of maple syrup/honey, etc. (This depends how sweet you like it)

  • 4tbsp Water

  • Zest of 1 Satsuma


  1. Place all the ingredients into a blender or food processor and blend until the mixture is combined.

  2. You may need to add more water or oats depending on it's consistency. It needs to be sticky enough to stay together.

  3. Measure out one tablespoon of mixture and roll into smooth balls.
